Community Policy & Usage Standards

Last Updated: August 5, 2026

This policy defines conduct, content, safety, and usage standards for every Freelanth member.

1. Professional Conduct

All members must interact with one another professionally and respectfully. The following are policy violations and may result in account suspension or termination:

  • Discrimination or harassment of any kind
  • Threatening, abusive, or obscene communications
  • Unsolicited repeated contact (spam) towards other members

2. Content Standards

All content on the platform — job postings, profiles, services, proposals — must meet the following standards:

  • Accurate and truthful; not exaggerated or misleading
  • No obscene, explicit, or inappropriate content
  • No infringement of third-party copyright or intellectual property
  • Uploaded files must be your own work or properly licensed
  • No malware, viruses, or harmful code

3. Payment safety

Freelanth does not collect, hold, release, refund, or pay funds between users.

If users independently arrange payment, Freelanth does not process, guarantee, or resolve disputes over those funds. Verify the other party, keep evidence, and never send card details, bank details, OTP codes, or passwords through messages.

4. Account Integrity

  • Each person may maintain only one account
  • Creating multiple accounts, impersonating others, or providing false information is strictly prohibited
  • Account and profile information must be accurate and current
  • Login credentials must not be shared with others
  • Accounts may not be bought, sold, or transferred

5. Usage quotas

Users may post jobs, list services, and take related actions within the quotas shown by the product.

  • AI features must not be used to generate deceptive content or spam
  • Do not bypass quotas or use multiple accounts to gain additional access
  • Abnormal usage patterns may result in temporary suspension of AI feature access

6. Work Integrity

  • Freelancers must deliver work as agreed — on time and to the quality described in the proposal
  • Submitting plagiarised work or claiming others' work as your own is prohibited
  • Clients must provide clear briefs and feedback; scope creep beyond the original agreement without additional compensation is not permitted
  • Submitting reports without valid grounds or with intent to harm the other party is prohibited

7. Data & Privacy Protection

  • Personal or confidential information shared by the other party must not be disclosed to third parties
  • Project-related data must be used solely for the purposes of that project
  • Private conversations must not be recorded or shared without consent

8. Enforcement

Freelanth (operated by Purrclaw Co., Ltd.) reserves the right to take action against accounts that violate this policy, including:

  • Warning: For minor first-time violations
  • Temporary suspension: For repeated violations or those affecting other users
  • Permanent termination: For serious violations such as fraud, harassment, or repeated payment deception
  • Reporting to authorities: In cases of potential illegal activity
