Terms of Service

Last updated: August 5, 2026

These terms apply to Freelanth's Free-only Public Beta, operated by Purrclaw Co., Ltd.

Controlling scope for the Free-only Public Beta

Freelanth currently provides limited free job posting, service listings, conversations, and work coordination only. The platform does not collect, hold, release, refund, or pay funds between users, and does not currently offer marketplace payments, Escrow, payment protection, payouts, paid subscriptions, or phone verification.

  • Previous wording about Stripe, Escrow, refunds, payouts, commission, or paid plans does not apply to the current Beta service.
  • Prices recorded in proposals or work agreements document an agreement between users; they are not platform payment instructions.
  • If paid services are introduced later, pricing, terms, providers, and the effective date will be disclosed before activation.

1. Acceptance

  • By registering for or using Freelanth, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements.

2. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate information, use an email address you control, and protect your password.
  • Email is the primary account channel during Beta. Phone verification is deferred until a provider is connected.
  • Freelanth does not represent that every user has completed government-ID or background verification.
  • Do not transfer accounts, impersonate others, or attempt to access another person's account.

3. Platform role

  • Freelanth helps users discover, communicate, document agreements, and track work. It is not the employer, agent, or contracting party for user-to-user work.
  • Users are responsible for checking counterparties, scope, price, deadlines, taxes, and applicable legal requirements.
  • The platform may restrict, suspend, or remove content for safety, legal compliance, or policy enforcement.

4. Work agreements

  • Confirm scope, price, deadlines, intellectual-property treatment, and revision terms before work begins.
  • Keep messages, files, deliveries, and approvals in the workspace for reference.
  • A recorded work status is not Escrow, a payment guarantee, or a binding legal dispute decision.

5. Payments arranged outside the platform during Beta

  • Because marketplace payments are unavailable, Freelanth does not process or guarantee payments users arrange themselves.
  • Users are responsible for verification, security, taxes, evidence, and legal compliance for those payments.
  • Never send card details, OTP codes, passwords, or sensitive bank-account information through messages.

6. Content and intellectual property

  • You must have rights to the text, images, files, portfolio work, and other content you upload, and must not infringe another party's rights.
  • Ownership of deliverables between a client and freelancer follows the agreement they confirm.
  • Platform names, marks, and interface materials remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Fraud, spam, deception, harassment, illegal content, attacks, scraping, and attempts to bypass security controls are prohibited.
  • Do not disclose another person's personal or confidential information without authorization.

8. Account action and liability

  • We may restrict or suspend accounts for risk, policy violations, or legal requirements based on the information available.
  • The Beta may contain errors, be interrupted, or change and is provided as available to the extent permitted by law.
  • Freelanth does not guarantee work quality, payment, or another user's performance of an agreement.

9. Law and contact

  • These Terms are governed by Thai law. Any limitation of rights or liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.
  • Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@freelanth.com.
